Whish Healthy Treats for Your Skin! {review}

October 24th, 2009 by Andrea

I would like to introduce you to a great company that makes natural, effective and organic body products.  This company is called Whish and it was founded by two brothers Jesse & Sam Werner. The idea behind Whish came from Jesse’s wife Aimee wishing for a better shaving experience. The brand was launched in January 2006 with four products; three flavors of Shave Crave Shaving Cream and one body brush.  In the Fall of 2008 Whish launched a series of treatment based bath products including body wash, sugar scrub and body butter. Today Which has twenty-five retail products and five professional products. Whish is a green company! Woot! In addition to avoiding chemicals in it’s products, they are manufactured in the United States in a wind powered facility. Whish also uses recycleable bottles and jars and uses post consumer content for it’s boxes.

Shave Crave Shaving Cream

A rich and moisturizing shaving cream without harsh chemicals or drying foam. This shaving cream comes in three flavors; pomegranate, lemongrass and almond. This stuff is amazing! I received the pomegranate to try and it smells delicious. I love the way it made my legs and armpits feel and it left no bumps behind like my normal shaving cream.  This comes in a 5 ounce glass bottle for $24.00 each.

Flawless Ingrown Hair Serum

Think goodbye redness, bumps and ingrown hairs! The end of inflammation. Ideal for use after waxing legs, bikini, brows and lips. It smooths and soothes delicate skin. It features a fresh, clean scent and many natural ingredients. Flawless Ingrown Hair Serum comes in a 1.1 ounce bottle for $22.50 each.

Shave Savour Hair Inhibiting Gel

This is a wonderful after-shave that is quickly absorbed by your skin. This can be used to soothe your skin after a day in the sun, or to replenish it after shaving. It also slows hair growth! This stuff is the bomb! I tried a sample and I am in looove! It is never sticky or tacky and it glides on smooth leaving behind a silky, completely dry finish. It also comes in three flavors; pomegranate, lemongrass, and almond. This comes in a 7.4 ounce bottle for $26.00 each.

Three Whishes Body Wash

A powerfully moisturizing alternative to the typical chemical laden drying body washes. This is a pampering product taht contains organic aloe, organic shea butter and organic raspberry butter. This stuff left my skin smelling great and feeling even better. My husband even loved the pomegranate fragrance! It is available in three essential oil based flavors; pomegranate, lemongrass and almond. It comes in a 13 ounce bottle for $22.00 each.

Whish products can be ordered online directly from the Whish website with free shipping on orders over $50. It can also be purchased at Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Zitomer and Whole Foods in the UK. The professional treatments are available at the Nordstrom Spa.

If you are looking for a way to have great smelling, luxuriously smooth and soft skin this holiday season (and year round for that matter) I would HIGHLY recommend Whish body products. Whish would also make a wonderful gift for that special person in your life.

I received some Whish items to review. The opinions expressed here are my own and you may have a different experience with these products. Thank you to Whish for this review opportunity.
