Wanna help a girl out?

I need your help. I cannot decide what style of coat to get this winter. I want something stylish that can be worn for a few years without looking outdated. LOL! Clear as mud?
Anyway here are some examples of the types of coats I am deciding to choose from…
Diamond Quilted Coat (would get the purple)
Pea Coat (I would get it in black)
Okay so I know these are two completely different types of coats. One is dressier than the other, one is wool, etc. I like them both and can’t decide. Here is another one I like but couldn’t grab the photo.

If you have time and want to (please?) would you check it out too and give me your opinion on the one of the three that you would choose. Remember that I am a size 16/18 so certain styles are more flattering than others. And, purple is one of the in colors this winter. =)

I have a quilted one and a wool pea coat and I personally love my pea coat the best! I feel dressier in it, it is warmer for the winter. My vote is the pea coat!
The quilted is great but since it isn’t as nice I usually wear it if I am going grocery shopping or something….but not very often. I always grab my pea coat first since I feel like I look the best in it!
Since you are not a tiny size the black would be slimming, and the vertical embellishment would make your waist appear smaller since it curves inward.

I like the black peacoat..It might be dressy, but it’s going to be more flattering than the quilt coat. I like the link one too, but I like the one with the picture here better =)

Pea Coat would be my choice, and black will go with all outfits, but personally I think the red is awesome.

I say pea coat! I LOVE them, always have. Quilted coats tend to make you look frumpier in my opinion (at least they did me 40lbs ago. Get that pea coat with a slight waist to it and show off those curves
I also LOVE the red but black is cute too!

Well … I’m more practical than anything else, so I would probably go for the 1st one because I’m always paranoid that I’m going to skid off the road and be stranded in a ditch for ten hours during a snowstorm and that coat looks like it would keep me warmer.
But if I weren’t such a paranoid freak of nature, I’d go for #2 – love that style, especially if it were in black.

Definitely a pea coat. I am the same size as you and the quilted will just make you look larger. The pea coat defines your waist. Depending on where you carry your weight, (i am bottom heavy) skip the pleats.

I think those Pea coats are so outdated!! #! is the coat for you girl! I love it Its super cute and you can wear for every day dress and for dressy WIN WIN situation and I just know you’ll look too cute in it too

I like the black pea coat. I think it’s very stylish and would go great from work to a night out. It’s a “classic” style. In fact I want to see if they offer that coat in my size. I could use a new coat too.
