I was recently introduced to a great product called Tie Buddies. Tie Buddies are a mom invented product that helps children learn to tie their shoes. I have a seven year old that still had not mastered that skill. So when I was approached to do a review, I jumped at the chance.
I received a set of tie buddies for review. I immediately put them on my son’s shoes as shown in the instructions on the back of the package. He was excited to try them out and we got started working on it right away. As suggested we came up with a little story to go along with the race car characters on the Tie Buddies. It was very simple to teach him how to tie his shoes using the thorough instructions on the back of the package. We have practiced it several times and he is almost to the point where he can do it for himself. He and I are both happy that he has learned this new skill! I would recommend Tie Buddies to any parent that has a child who is old enough to learn to tie their own shoes. I can’t wait to get started with my almost five year old son.

I’m going to have to check this out. My oldest is 4 1/2 and has been begging me to teach him to tie his own shoes. I’ve tried a time or 2, but it seems too complicated for him to get. Maybe this would help!
