What comes to mind when you think of a drive in? For me it is SONIC. We have one not too far from our house and really enjoy visiting on occasion. Their carhops are always friendly and the food is always cooked fresh and delivered to the car hot. I love that Sonic offers breakfast foods anytime of the day.

Did you know that SONIC also offers healthy options for their kid’s Wacky Pack meals? SONIC’s Wacky Pack meals meet a number of USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans and recommendations for children’s nutrition. For example, children can get a healthy meal consisting of two chicken breast strips, apple slices with caramel sauce for dipping and 1% lowfat milk. For children that still want french fries with their Wacky Pack meals, a WebMD nutritionist identified SONIC regular french fries as the most healthy among other fast-food restaurants. This summer SONIC is offering a different kid’s toy each month in the Wacky Pack meals in an effort to support family interaction. For July the toys are Atomic Straws and for August they are going to be offering the Smart-a-gon toys. In September they are offering Hero Force collectibles, commemorating every day heroes including police, firefighters and EMS workers.
