Sick…Again

by Andrea on March 15, 2010

It seems like these last few months I have been sick more then I have been well. No fun! I have high blood pressure and right now I can’t seem to keep it under control which causes terrible headaches and makes me feel bad all over. I finally got a doctors appointment tomorrow and I am hoping that he will be able to give me different blood pressure meds or something. This stinks!

I hope to get back to posting regularly very soon but right now I have to take care of myself first.

I hope you all have a great week!

Not good! I have HBP too.
Maybe it’s time for a new med or increase in dosage.
Hope you feel better soon.

I found many high blood pressure meds that dilate your blood vessels made me very ill!
I could not breath well, had headaches & flu like side effects.

Ask your doctor about :

Atenolol

It is a beta blocker & acts much better without all the side effects.

Some blood pressure meds made me so ill…I was put into the hospital.

Now with Atenolol I am doing GOOOD!

Hopefully the Doctor will check a blood level and see if your potassium levels are okay.
Sometimes people with low potassium end up with higher blood pressures.
An RN who ran a health food store told me to eat plain celery stalks, at least six long pieces a day with no salt or cheese on them, and that it would help to lower blood pressure.
I think it’s the potassium in the celery that is really doing it.

Hey, girl – sorry you’re still not feeling well. HBP is no joke, causes all kinds of other systemic probs as well! One thing most people don’t think of is; watch the ingredients in porcessed foods, drinks etc. (Even things like frozen dinners/entree’s, vegtables, side dishes etc.) they all have HUGE amounts of additives and sodium which can really wreck your efforts to stay healthy! Enen the “so-called” HEATHY CHOICE-type entree’s are loaded. Take care, hope you get to feeling better soon…… HJC
