Valentine’s Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. When I was in school I remember being so excited to hand out my Valentines that I couldn’t ever sleep the night before. My Grandma would usually have a cake or something sweet for me to eat after school, it was just a really special day.
Now that I have two children of my own, I try to make sure they have a special Valentine’s Day. Any day now I’ll be ordering Valentine’s Day cards for them to exchange at school. Sending out cards for Valentine’s Day is something that I try to remember each year. My Grandma’s birthday is on Valentine’s Day so I have an extra excuse to send her a pretty card. I send my mother a card because she is single and everyone should be made to feel loved on Valentine’s Day. I’ll probably also have lunch with the boys on Valentine’s Day just to help make the day extra special. And then I’ll make some cookies for them to enjoy when they get home from school.
There are many places where you can get Valentine’s Day cards but few places where you can get unique cards that allow you to express how you really feel.
