Ended Fight Tough Stains with Oxyclean!

by Andrea on February 23, 2010

As the mother of two active boys I am constantly looking for products that will remove tough stains from their clothes. It seems like they have a knack for getting the worst stains. Grass, red sauces, mud, blood, you name it and I fight the stains! Oxyclean has always been a go-to brand in my home because their products work the best at fighting the tough stains.

When I heard about the new Oxyclean Max Force line of products I was excited to try them. These new stain fighting products brought to you by Oxyclean contain four types of stain fighters that work together to get out even the toughest of stains.

  • Polymers bind dirt and soils to suspend them in the wash water and allow them to rinse away.
  • Amylase enzyme targets the starchy thickeners in foods that can bind the stain to fabric.
  • Solvents and Surfactants dissolve and trap grease and oils.
  • Protease enzyme targets protein stains like blood and grass.

The new Oxyclean Max Force line includes two great new products. Oxyclean Max Force Power Paks and Oxyclean Max Force Gel Stick Pre-Treater.

oxyclean power paksThe Oxyclean Max Power Paks boost detergent’s power to help remove the stains that your detergent misses. Active oxygen deeply penetrates fabric fibers to remove stains and leave clothes looking whiter and brigher than detergent alone. The individual paks offer a no mess convenience with the right amount of premeasured stain fighting power. The paks are safe to use in both regular and HE washing machines.

The new Oxyclean Max Force Gel Stick Pre-Treater which you just rub into the stain and it gets the stain out. The new stain grabbing applicator top helps to penetrate stains with 4 types of stain fighters packed into an ultra concentrated gel. This pre-treater offers ultimate flexibility because you can treat stains immediately and wash later – up to 1 week after application.

I tried both of these products and they both worked wonders on my laundry. I just love how bright my clothes came out after using the Power Paks. I even used the Power Paks with cool water and they still did their job! For the tougher stains I used the Gel Stick and it removed the bad grass stain on my son’s jeans with just one use. With the Gel Stick I do recommend letting it sit for at least a few minutes before putting it in the wash so the gel has time to really soak into the clothing. If you are like me and have tough laundry stains or just want to brighten your clothing I would totally recommend these products.

Oxyclean Max Force products are available at most large retail stores. If you would like to try them there is a coupon here for both products.

Working in a hospital I always came home with stains. Probably the worst one that I don’t think ever came out was liquid B vitamins. Everything else I would soak out in Dreft solution. This was pre – oxyclean. Now U use oxyclean for stains.

I never seem to be able to cook anything with tomato sauce without splattering it on me. I would have to say they are the toughest stains for me if I don’t remember to pretreat them. Thanks for the review and giveaway!

I have a toddler vomit stain on my sheets and I can’t get it out no matter what I use or how long I scrub it. The sheets are clean but they don’t look clean.

I got my husband this nice cream colored Izod golf shirt. I specifically TOLD him NOT to work on his bicycle (or anyone else’s) with it on… of course, he did, the first time he wore it, and it permanently has a greasy chain ring mark right on the belly. Sometimes I could shoot him!

To make your chrome faucets gleam and shine, try putting a dab of baby oil on a cotton ball. Polish the faucet with the baby oil. this was atip my sister told me

We were living in an older home that had antiquedated plumbing. That being said, using the washing machine was not recommended for cleaning color sensitive clothing as it was almost guaranteed that those items would come out with a rust colored tie-die!

We were having dinner at a fast food place that has those little paper cups for ketchup, and I dropped one of them, and it splattered all over my husband’s clothes. And after he’d told me that he’d go back for the ketchup, but I insisted on going ahead and getting it…. Anyway, you know how bad ketchup is to stain. Well, he soaked the stuff for about two weeks in OxyClean, refreshing the water every few days, and all the stains came out. It’s amazing stuff!
