Lego makes some of my boys favorite toys and the brand is one that I feel I can trust. They have come out with several new products recently and we had the opportunity to test some of them out.
The first line of products from Lego are their Lego games. My son has seen the commercials on television for them and he wants them all. We were sent the Robo Champ game to try out and it has been a hit in our home! The game comes with a die that you have to build and a bunch of Lego pieces that can be built to make robots. The object of the game is to see who can get all of the pieces to build their color of robot. Trent (6) had a hard time understanding the game at first but he quickly caught on and then decided he would rather just play with the pieces. Overall the we think Robo Champ is a fun game that the family can play together and enjoy.
Another great line of products that Lego has come out with is called Hero Factory. This line is made up of several different hero characters that your child can build. Both of my sons enjoyed building the heros however Trent needed a bit of help. I think the Hero Factory line is better suited for children 8+ because they can be difficult to build for the little guys. We really enjoyed building and playing with the characters we received from the Hero Factory line from Lego.
You can find these Lego products at many retailers including Amazon. The Hero Factory line starts at $9.99 and would make a great gift for that special boy in your life. The Lego games start at $9.97 and are great for family game night or as a fun gift.
