NERF Infrared Night Vision Goggles & Camcorder {review}

My oldest son has always been curious about seeing in the dark. He’s never been afraid of the dark (unlike his mother)! We received the NERF Infrared Night Vision Goggles & Camcorder and he was so excited to try it out. This was around Christmas-time so he had already gotten another fun present – a metal detector. What does a 10-year-old do with new night vision goggles and a new metal detector? He goes out in the yard to hunt for metal at night! And he had a blast!

I didn’t capture any photos of him exploring with the camcorder at night and he hasn’t made a good nighttime video yet, but I did get a photo of him with the goggles.

The NERF Night Vision Camcorder allows kids to explore their surroundings while recording fun videos both day and night. My son has taken a lot of daytime videos. The videos are good quality – especially for a kid’s camcorder. The NERF Night Vision Camcorder takes an SD card so you or your kids can easily upload the videos right to the computer.

The NERF Night Vision Camcorder is well-built and sturdy – tough enough for my son to have fun with! You know how hard boys can be on things. It takes four AA batteries which seem to last long enough. My son says the camcorder is easy to use and my 8-year-old was even able to figure it out quickly. The NERF Night Vision Camcorder allows your kids to see up to 50 feet away and the infrared Nightvision allows your kids to spot their targets with ease. The picture is crystal-clear and the optical lens offers up to 4X magnification.
