I was sent samples to make this post possible. Opinions are my own.
After packing my son’s lunch for several years, I’ve started to run out of options for a healthy lunch. Recently I was contacted by KIND to try their bars which are made of healthy ingredients including all-natural fruits, nuts and whole grains. There is nothing artificial in KIND products.
There are many ways in which KIND Bars are a great option for a healthy lunch or a quick and satisfying breakfast on-the-go:
Brain Food – Studies support the idea that breakfast with a lower-sugar load may improve short-term memory and attention span at school. Swap out sugar-loaded pancakes for KIND’s Maple Glazed Pecan & Sea Salt Bar with only 5g of sugar. The antioxidants and omega-3s in pecans also help to improve mental performance – double whammy!
Allergy Free – They all compare lunchbox snacks, so make sure the ones you give your allergy prone kiddo are tasty alternatives like peanut and gluten-free KIND bars like Almond & Coconut, Apple Cinnamon Pecan or Blueberry Vanilla Cashew.
Quell the Queasies – New teacher, new classmates – who doesn’t get butterflies on the first day of school? Given ginger has been proven to relieve nausea, have them snack on KIND Cashew & Ginger Spice.
Sleep On It – Recent studies show that good eating and sleep habits help kids succeed in school. The nutritional trifecta of the protein, fiber & heart healthy fats in KIND bars may just be what they need to have a good nights’ sleep. Better yet – choose flavors like KIND Fruit & Nut Delight or KIND Almont Walnut Macadamia – made with Brazil nuts which are rich in sleep-provoking selenium.
Bento Bar – Break it up, take it out of the wrapper, leave it in – KIND minis are the perfect size for a fun and colorful bento box arrangement.
Dip It – What kid doesn’t like to play with their food? Make mealtime fun by letting them dunk cut up pieces of KIND Madagascar Vanilla Almond in Chobani’s Blueberry yogurt.
Freeze It – Swap that frozen snickers bar out for a frozen KIND Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter bar. Not having to clean up a melty mess will be worth it – trust us.
Hide It – Buckwheat, amaranth, quinoa…oh my! If getting your kids to eat their daily dose of whole grains gives you nightmares try sneaking them with KIND Healthy Grains in its hard to resist flavors like Peanut Butter and Vanilla Blueberry.
As you can see, there are many different benefits to including KIND Bars in your kid’s mealtime routines. My family has been enjoying a variety of KIND Bars which are available in most any flavor you can think of. My favorite is the Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate + Protein bar – yum!
If you are looking for a healthy alternative to sugar-filled granola bars, try KIND. I know you’ll love the taste and health benefits!
