I’m Going to Blissdom!

I am so excited to tell you all that I am going to Blissdom this weekend. For those of you that might not know Blissdom is a conference that is being held in Nashville, TN from Thursday February 4th through Saturday February 6th. The conference is about connecting with other bloggers and learning from some of the best.

As it happens I waited too late to decide whether or not I was going to go and then the tickets were sold out. I tweeted about looking for a ticket and Becky from Nickels-n-Dimes must have seen my tweets and she messaged me. She wasn’t able to go so she offered me the opportunity to buy her ticket. I feel bad that she can’t go but I am happy that I was able to buy her ticket.

I will be leaving Thursday afternoon and returning on Sunday morning. I am going to miss my family so much. I have NEVER left the kids with their dad alone overnight and that makes me a bit nervous. I know he will do just fine it’s just hard to leave them. I am also a bit nervous to drive the two hours to Nashville alone because driving gives me a lot of anxiety. I especially hate to drive at night so I am going to leave as soon as the babysitter gets here on Thursday. That means I won’t get to see my husband before I leave =(

I am looking forward to spending time with other people who know what Twitter is and what a blog actually is. I am especially looking forward to meeting Erica Mueller of Erica Says. She has been such a great friend and has helped me with my blog so much. I just love her! I am also looking forward to meeting Jyl of The Post It Place. She is such a sweet person and a great friend!
