CLOSED Glamma Toys {review & giveaway}

by Andrea on November 13, 2009

I was recently introduced to an online toy retailer called Glamma Toys. Glamma Toys sells a wide range of fun and educational toys for all ages. They carry many well-known brands such as Radio Flyer, I Spy and Plasmacar. One great thing about Glamma Toys is that they offer free shipping on orders over $75. You can shop for some of the best loved educational toys for your child right from the comfort of your home! The Glamma Toys site is so easy to navigate. You can shop by age or by brand. Each product they offer is well described on the site with reviews from other parents who have tried the product.

Glamma Toys also offers special needs toys for thos special children in your life. They also have a program for educators called Educator’s Corner. Teachers and other educators can get special discounts and benefits from Glamma Toys. Glamma Toys has a special customer loyalty program called Glamma Bucks. For every dollar you spend at Glamma Toys you get 3,000 Glamma Bucks that you can use towards the purchase of more toys. It is simple to join, all you have to do is sign up for a free account as a Glamma Toys customer. Glamma Toys also has a great refer-a-friend program too! When you refer a friend to Glamma Toys and they make their first purchase you receive $5 and they get 10% off their first order.

I received the WEDGiTS To Go bucket for review. WEDGiTS are hard plastic building toys in the shape of a rhombus and a octahedron. More about WEDGiTS To Go:

This building and design toy offers creative construction challenges for today’s kids-on-the-Go! Packaged in its own plastic carrying case, this 35 piece educational manipulative allows kids to create designs, structures, creatures and art-forms. The open-ended design of WEDGiTS stimulate children’s perception and reasoning skills as they experience different ways to stack, nest and align these rhombus and octahedron shaped blocks. WEDGiTS To Go! also includes 10 sample design cards from the Advanced Design Cards deck.

My five year old Trent, was the most excited about this toy. He loves to build with Legos so the WEDGiTS are right up his alley. He immediately opened the box and started building. He spent a good hour playing and building different things with the WEDGiTS.

trent playing with the wedgits

My seven year old Ethan noticed how much fun Trent was having and joined in. They both had a lot of fun and have continued to get the WEDGiTS out everyday after school.

I would recommend you to check out Glamma Toys the next time you are shopping for educational and fun toys for your children. They have a wonderful selection, fast shipping and a nice rewards program for their customers. The site is one of the easiest to navigate that I have found online. Check out Glamma Toys for your holiday shopping needs. You wont be disappointed!
