Ice cream is one of my favorite desserts. But since I’ve been watching what I eat, I decided to cut it out of my diet. Instead of eating ice cream, I’ve been enjoying Whole Fruit Sorbet when I’m craving a sweet treat.
Whole Fruit Sorbet is made by the same folks who make the popular Whole Fruit Bars. It is available in pints and can be found in the freezer section of your local grocery store. Each pint of Whole Fruit Sorbet is made with real fruit and is naturally fat-free and low calorie. Whole Fruit Sorbet is available in nine different flavors:
- Coconut
- Lemon
- Mango
- Strawberry
- Peach
- Black Cherry
- Valencia Orange
- Pomegranate
- Blueberry & Acai
I was sent five of the flavors of Whole Fruit Sorbet to review. My favorite is the Mango with the Lemon coming in at a close second. All five of the flavors I have tried are delicious. The sorbet has chunks of real fruit inside and it tastes great. Sometimes when I’m craving fruit, I’ll grab the Whole Fruit Sorbet and it really satisfies my cravings. I am so happy that I can
eat a serving of Whole Fruit Sorbet without feeling guilty over the calories. I also love that Whole Fruit Sorbet is made with quality ingredients and that the ingredients are all things that I recognize. I can’t wait to try the other four flavors of Whole Fruit Sorbet because they’re just so tasty!
Did you know that each American consumes a yearly average of 24 quarts of sorbet, Italian ice, sherbet, ice cream and other commercially produced frozen dairy products? The makers of Whole Fruit Sorbet and Whole Fruit Bars (J&J Snack Foods) are the largest producer of Sorbet and Italian Ice in the United States. They use over 450,000 gallons of real fruit concentrate to make their frozen products each year.
If you enjoy ice cream or other kinds of frozen treats, chances are you’ll find at least one flavor of Whole Fruit Sorbet that you’ll love. Be sure to check out the Whole Fruit selection in your local grocer’s freezer the next time you’re at the store. I know you won’t be disappointed!
