Over the past several months I have been trying to prepare healthier meals for my family. With my husband and I both being overweight not only do we need to eat healthier but we also want to be better role models for our children. I recently received the new Evolve Grill from George Foreman and I couldn’t wait to try it out!

The George Foreman Evolve Grill is a versatile grill that allows you to prepare healthier meals without taking up too much counter space. What makes this grill so different is that it comes with a variety of grill plates to allow you to cook more of your meals the in a healthier way. The grill comes with 2 grill plates, 1 deep dish bake pan (did someone say lasagna?) and a cupcake/muffin pan. I did not receive the cupcake/muffin pan however I may be purchasing it to go along with my Evolve grill. [click to continue…]

Elmer’s Virtual Bag It Forward is an online blog meme with the goal of raising $10,000 for Adopt A Classroom. For every blog post written Elmer’s is donating $10 to Adopt A Classroom (up to $10,000). Adopt A Classroom is an organization that allows people in the community to donate money to teachers so that they can buy additional supplies for their students.
ELMER’S VIRTUAL BAG IT FORWARD RULES
- Copy and paste these rules into your blog post or Facebook note.
- Create a post giving a “virtual bag of school supplies” to other bloggers or write about your Back to School shopping trip at Walmart.
- Link back to the person who gave you a bag of school supplies.
- Let each person you are giving a virtual bag of school supplies know you have given them a bag.
- Leave your link in the Elmer’s Virtual Bag It Forward comment section. You can also find the official rules of this virtual #bagitforward program there.
- Elmer’s is donating $10 for each blog participating in the Virtual Bag It Forward Donation to Adopt-A-Classroom (up to total of $10,000 for blog posts written by September 10,2010).
- Please note that only one blog post per blog url will count towards the donation.

I fully support this cause and have decided to give my virtual bag of school supplies to my good friend Angie from A Simple Kinda Life. If you have a blog and want to join in on this cause you have until Friday, September 10th to do so. If everyone who blogs would take 10 minutes to write a short blog post just think about how much money would be donated!
