Ended Battle of Giants Dragons & Battle of Giants Dinosaurs for Nintendo DS

Today I am featuring two more Nintendo DS games from Ubisoft. These two games are called Battle of Giants Dragons and Battle of Giants Dinosaurs. They are some of the most popular Nintendo DS games from Ubisoft. Ubisoft is a software company that makes games for many different platforms including the Wii, Playstation, PC and Nintendo DS.

In Battle of Giants Dragons players choose which element they want to play in; fire, ice, wind or earth. Each element has its’ own unique powers that you can use to your advantage. Kids can also choose which attack mode to use; head, claws, tail, flight and more. With this game kids can play against your friends who have their own DSi using up to four players. They can also enter the giants world at www.battleofgiantsgame.com. This game also comes with a deck of playing cards which kids can use to play their friends in a fun card game!

In Battle of Giants Dinosaurs you roam 9 different detailed prehistoric lands and battle with other dinosaurs. Kids can choose from 26 species of dinosaurs and can make each one unique with the dinosaur design part of the game. Kids can play in adventure mode where they try to survive in the prehistoric world. Or you can battle your friends who have DSi’s in the multi-player or quick match modes. This game will accommodate up to 6 players.

Our Review:

My boys both played each game  and they liked both games. The downfall of the Battle of Giants Dinosaurs game is that there is so much more to the game if you have more than one DSi (which we will after Christmas). My 7 year old said he liked the action in the Battle of Giants Dragons game and he has played it quite a bit in the past few days. My five year old really liked the Battle of Giants Dinosaurs game because he enjoyed designing different dinosaurs.

There is some fighting and violence in both games. The Battle of Giants Dinosaurs game is rated E for Everyone while the Battle of Giants Dragons game is rated Everyone 10+. The violence isn’t graphic so I think both games are okay for my boys. You may have a different opinion about the games.
