Baking with Domino Light: Sugar & Stevia Blend

I love to bake and my family enjoys eating my baked goods. As much as I enjoy eating the things I bake, I am always looking for ways to lighten them up a bit. I’ve found an easy, new way to lighten up my baked goods – Domino Light: Sugar & Stevia Blend.

Domino Light: Sugar & Stevia Blend is a great new product from Domino Sugar. It is a blend of pure cane sugar, extract from the stevia plant and a natural flavoring. It contains half the calories of regular sugar with the same sweet taste. Best of all, it doesn’t contain any artificial ingredients.

My boys love peanut butter so I decided to make some peanut butter cookies using Domino Light: Sugar & Stevia Blend. The recipe I use is only three ingredients: 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of peanut butter and 1 egg.

I substituted the sugar for Domino Light: Sugar & Stevia Blend to see how it would taste. I followed the directions exactly and I am pleased to say that the cookies turned out great.

They still have the same great flavor as when I have used regular sugar in the past. With four guys in the house the cookies sure didn’t last long!
